Mr. Cook's practice focuses primarily on litigation, with a particular emphasis on contract disputes, employment discrimination, collective bargaining disputes, media issues, and higher education. David has represented clients in both state and federal courts as well as domestic and international arbitration. David graduated first in his class, summa cum laude, from Duquesne University School of Law in 2005. David received his M.A. in history from Boston College in 1995, passing his examinations with distinction, and his B.A. from Allegheny College in 1989. David's publications include The Emergence of Delaware's Duty of Good Faith: In re Emerging Communications, Inc., 43 Duq. L. Rev. 91-111 (Fall 2004) and The Hearsay Exception for Declarations Against Penal Interest is not Firmly Rooted in Pennsylvania Law: Commonwealth v. Robbins, 42 Duq. L. Rev. 589-623 (Spring 2004). Prior to practicing law David was a history professor, specializing in the European intellectual history. David is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association. David lives in Shadyside with his wife and three children.
